I Recently Made a Article on just how far we have come, Here it is:

"How far we have come" Just how far have we come since Trailer 1? I have made a article including screen shots describing what we have seen. It covers almost everything since trailer 1! It seems like just yesterday GTA IV was announced. Now it's more like a reality! 14 Trailers, One Boxart unveiling, Well over 200 Screens and 20 artworks and we're finally past our delay. All of the fans waiting for GTA IV we're disappointed last September, when one Take Twos quarterly audio casts announced that GTA IV was in fact Delayed/canceled. But, They did mention a early Spring release for the game that has been anticipated since GTA Sanandreas. The Grand Theft Auto franchise is like any other in the gaming industry. The franchise may have it's flaws, either it be in game coding/structure or "hidden content", But for the most anyone who is close to gaming knows that Grand Theft Auto pretty much rules the gaming industry. Now lets get on to How Far We Have Come since Trailer 1. Trailer 1, Released over a year ago seems to be almost everyones favorite trailer. You can't beat the first view of a new GTA Game. When you hear the city sounds, The subway train going down the rails and the amazing city sky's, Any gta fan will fall to pieces. Trailer 1 was an amazing trailer but there was alot more to come! Tons of teasers slipped out early, Missions details for the first 5 missions slipped away from Rockstar Games evil withholding grab. We we're simple told " Things would be different " , And after trailer 1 We realized this wasn't good ol' Liberty City like we had known it from Grand Theft Auto 3. All of us learned that things in the next gta would be pushed to the limit literately. After a teaser that was suppose to last us a few months Rockstar Games gave us small looks at GTA IV. Some screens every 3-7 Days fed the weary untill, Trailer 2 " Looking for the special someone ". After watching this speedy trailer for the thousandth time. We did come to the conclusion things would be much different. Toll booths actually function perfect, Detail in your player ( Niko Bellics ) Face was revealed. Rockstar Had put an amazing amount of time into this creation, This was not just to be another City Stories like Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories from the past few years. In fact, those story franchises are what I think funded most of the GTA IV Development. Rockstar needed to make some quick cash to fund a massive project like this, They did it! We also saw in trailer 2 that Bank Robbery's and Cop stand offs we're famous everyday situations in Liberty City. Many cars drove by and other vehicles fly through the sky making for a fantastic trailer 2. But surely there was more to this game then two trailers and a few screens right? We thought so too! Finally, A website launch! On 2.28.08 We got a better look at GTA IV. With the massive site update! The update covered : "Official Site Update" -69th Street Diner -Bangin Trash can Lids -Roman Bellic -Deputy Mayor Bryce Dawkins -Manny Escuela -Vlad Glebov -Liberty Swingers -Love-meet.net -The Majestic Hotel -Francis McReary -Sprunk -Steinway Beer Garden -Super Star Cafe -Whiz Mobile -Streaming ScreenShot ScreenSaver -Screen Shot Section Update -The official Widget What a teaser, and how quiet Rockstar was for 13 days. Apparently, they wanted to show us more! We accepted! The follow update appeared 2.21.08 And it included: The update included: Phil Bell Video The Booth Tunnel Dilletante LCPD Most Wanted Beldar Morina Weazel News Update to the Screens Section New wallpapers Downloadable PDF Wanted Poster Files What another teaser. Had we not had enough of GTA IV goodies to munch on? Well for a little while a few screens popped up and then boom! Another site update 3.06.08 It included: -F99 International funk music, hosted by Femi Kuti. -Vladivostok FM Post-communist community radio to rock the Eastern Bloc. -Scenes from Burger Shot, one of LC's most ubiquitous fast-food chains. -Celebrity news that matters from Our-Own-Reality.com -The Liberty City History Quiz -All-new videos, featuring hard-living Irish-American Patrick "Packie" McReary and a message from the LCPD's recruitment division. With our mouths still dropped from all the new information, Rockstar games decided to feed us more! 3.20.08 Was another breaking update! We learned of new Radio Stations -K109 The Studio -WKTT Talk Radio ( Previously known about ) And of course it was time for a Music Section Update screen shots New Wallpapers - Action Series And Rockstar Recommends : April NYC Music Events Series Gee that was nice of Rockstar! There couldn't be another trailer now could there? New Trailer 3.27.08 - Trailer 3 "Move up Ladies". We learned alot about what the game is about and more importantly what it can do! Trailer 3 Starts off with a impressive view of Happiness Island. Then a view looking up at a very impressive Tug Boat with the most famous bridge from GTA IV pictured behind it. Nikos cousin Roman, Needs to fight some people. He doesn't really want to but Niko seems to push him to say We have to! This trailer shows alot of Niko stepping up to the plate with Guns fully loaded! Some impressive boat speed shots/water shots we're packed into it too. Now that we can sleep at night after all of this information surely a bit more would keep us up at night now wouldn't it! On 3.27.08 Rockstar Games Releases A new Trailer. Trailer 3 "Good Lord, What Are You Doing", AKA "Everyones a Rat". Trailer 4 is the final Main Trailer for GTA IV Before it's release. Trailer 4 is absolutely stunning. We start off watching a Police Black Hawk slip into the city sky's in one hell of a thunderstorm. The thunderstorm Shows off the Games stunning detailed affects. After that we get to witness Another bank Hold up, This time Inside! Where is the Rocket Launcher? Here we go now I'm starting to get into this trailer. Apparently, We have some real problems in Liberty City. This man States that. Now this isn't Phil Bell? This has yet to be known who this fellow is. Bullets hurt in real life, why shouldn't they hurt 10 Times as bad in GTA IV? Dirt bikes are for the true might warriors at heart. Lets drive one of these on the city streets to get in alley ways that Police Cars Can't! Explosions? Yeah we got those. There is NO shortage on explosions in GTA IV. As demonstrated here A car blows up and the mail boxes near by go with it including the ped! Francis International from past GTAS Makes a stunning Return. It's alot bigger then GTA III's Version. Speed is back and handles better then ever, This new car that appears to be the Turismo from GTA San andreas roars around from a sick police chase. The lungs of the city : Middle Park. Want a burger? Clean off the human blood first and it tastes amazing. Need a buddy? Playbox X is your man for the job. This is his town! Need some Recreation or Entertainment depending on how you look at it? The Liberty City Gun club is for you! If you ever need soda Liberty City has a abundance of it, You can find it over at the Sprunk plant in Alderney. LCPD Most Wanted, A mock of Americas Most Wanted is your source for the people the LCPD wants the most. Save some gas! And some trees. Buy a 40,000 Dollar Car! The Karmin Dillettante - Bad + Good = better for everyone. I see the economic lesson there. There is a ton more we could mention, but it would take days to make. This is sort of a brief for anyone who hasn't been keeping up. Grand Theft Auto Four Releases Tuesday April 29th 2008, Be sure to buy it.
